Apple Goes to the Dark Side

May 28 2016

Apples very important WWDC summit is happening next month in San Jose, California where anticipated announcements concerning iOS and iOS 13s dark mode. The much requested dark mode feature will allow users to toggle black and grey-heavy interfaces within the phones Control Center, sparing your eyes from the blindingly-bright iOS interface during night use. It seems Apple has embraces OLED screen technology as the activated dark mode relies heavily on dark greys and deep OLED blacks when possible. This inverted look is said to improve battery life on the iPhone X and iPhone XS devices because display pixels can be turned off completely.

Other important announcements will be made at the summit next month having to do with iPad improvements, watchOS 6, and app upgrades. More on that
